Welcome to MaryMaureenDesigns.com - Mary Maureen McKervill has a BHEC degree in clothing and textiles from Mount Saint Vincent University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and has studied textiles at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. After working at a clothing design studio in Toronto, she started her own design business with an exciting line of funky and functional children's clothing. When introduced at the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council show the line was received with great enthusiasm. Soon after Mary expanded her creative designs with hand made beaded jewelry using a fantastic array of beads from around the world.

Now living in rural Nova Scotia, she is a juried member of the Nova Scotia Designer Craft Council.

All our jewelry is hand made using a beautiful and amazing array of beads from around the world. The turquise is from China, the agate is from India, Czechoslovakian crystal and glass from Austria. These stunning colour combinations, combined in ways that only Mary Maureen can, are reminiscent of Nova Scotian landscapes, moods, and magic.

All children's fleece clothing is made with soft and cuddly 13 ounce lambskin sherpa polar fleece with anti-pill finish. This provides durability, warmth and breathability with style. All garments are machine wash and dry.

Cabbage rose garments are a super soft luxurious faux fur. The kids love it! The cabbage rose fabric is 100% polyester.

And of course all garments are machine wash and dry.

As with all of Mary's adult clothing, her wraps are made with soft and cuddly 13 ounce lambskin sherpa polar fleece with anti-pill finish. Roses wraps are trimmed with a soft luxurious faux fur to add a beautiful touch of elegance. These are great for the theatre, a stroll down Park Avenue, traveling or perhaps just for cozying on the couch. Spring, summer evenings, fall or as an extra layer in winter - a must have for every season. And they drape to fit all sizes beautifully - the perfect gift!
